Medical marijuana is a safe and effective treatment for many health issues facing the elderly, including depression and lack of appetite. However, many people are either unaware of this treatment or reluctant to discuss it with their physicians because of the stigma that still surrounds marijuana. Further, doctors can work with patients to determine the form of cannabis—edible, tincture, vapor, etc.—that is most effective for them.
