Are your meatballs just not the same since you deleted bread crumbs (along with all those other wheat products) from your life? Here’s what to do…

Instead of bread crumbs, consider using oatmeal or potato flakes (you can pulse quickly in a food processor or blender if you’d like a finer texture) as filler for meatballs, meatloaf and veggie burgers. You can also use cooked brown or white rice. A gluten-free friend of ours swears by instant mashed potatoes, but make sure that the label says gluten-free.
