At night, apply rubbing alcohol (it stings for a few seconds), then wait until your feet are completely dry and sprinkle them with baby powder (the unscented kind is preferable).

Remember: Athlete’s foot is highly contagious, so wear foot covering (such as flip-flops) in public showers or at home if anyone in your household has athlete’s foot and you share a bathroom with him/her.
