Is it impossible for your significant other to leave the house without loading on the hairspray, gel or other goopy sticky stuff all over his/her head (with some of it inevitably landing on your bathroom mirror)? Or maybe you do this…along with projectile tooth flossing and…well, you get the picture. Here’s how to get your mirror back to clear reflections…
Removing hairspray and other slick stuff from your mirror(s): Give your mirror the once-over with a cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol. Doing this will take off hairspray and any thin film left over from a cleaning agent, other aerosol products or shaving cream. The alcohol will evaporate on its own, but if you want a lint-free shine, go over the mirror with a used sheet of fabric softener…or a dry coffee filter…or a pair of old panty hose…or gift-wrapping tissue. Ah, there you are, beautiful!
