Your GPS navigating device can lead you astray. Reasons: GPS units are only as accurate as the map data supplied to them. Not all areas have been fully mapped out, and there sometimes are inaccuracies. Rural areas are the most problematic. Best: Always trust your common sense over the GPS. Be sure to download the most recent maps to your GPS unit — check with the GPS manufacturer to find out when new map data is available and how to download it. Always carry printed directions as well as the phone number of someone who can help if you get lost.
