Cleaning the burnt residue off your grill does not have to be a chore. Here’s an easy, cheap way to do it…

When you’re finished barbecuing on your charcoal grill and the grill grate is still warm, sprinkle baking soda on it. Let it stay that way overnight. The next morning, wipe it clean with a damp cloth and then dry.

Note: We don’t suggest this method for a gas grill, which is a little trickier to clean.
