  • Start your garden: Soil can be worked as soon as it crumbles easily and has no ice crystals. Seeds that can be sown early include lettuce, peas, radishes, spinach, cornflowers, poppies and sweet peas.
  • Move clocks forward one hour: Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 am on Sunday, March 8.
