Do you need some extra cheer on your entryway hall table, mantelpiece or wherever? Here’s a cheap, easy way to create festive beauty…

Fill glass vases with candy, pinecones, ornaments or fruit. Rather than buy floral arrangements that can cost $40 (or more) each, fill cylinder vases you’ve collected from flower deliveries (or you can buy them cheaply at a dollar store) with candy canes, peppermint swirls ($5 for about three pounds) or red and green Hershey Kisses. Or use pinecones, ornamental balls or fruits such as oranges, lemons, limes or apples. It’s a burst of holiday color that costs very little!
