We all have multiple passwords for our various online identities, but how do you know if your passwords are strong and effective? In this video, Adam Levin, chairman and founder of CyberScout and author of Swiped, guides you through some of the dos and don’ts of creating a strong, secure password. The secret to a strong password, he suggests, is to create one that uses alphanumeric characters—that is, use letters, numbers and other characters. In addition, he also explains how to create an even more effective password by use of a passphrase. Finally, be sure to create a unique password or passphrase for each website.
