Bottom Line/HEALTH:Dr. Hamdy, you talk a lot about eating out because people eat out quite often. Is there an easiest cuisine or a best cuisine for people to go to?
Osama Hamdy, MD, PhDYou know the best cuisine is how you behave inside the restaurants. Any cuisine will be fine, but when you go in, you have to be very conscious of what you will put on your plate. Avoid any cuisines that have big jumbo plates because usually they try to give you value for your money and provide bigger portions. I sometimes advise my patients to tell the waiters to cut the meal into halves in the kitchen…don’t serve the entire meal on the table. Pack up the remainder, and use it second day.
