Fall is a favorite time for long walks. But new shoes and heavy terrain can bring on the blisters! Here’s what to do…

When you’re going to be walking a lot and/or when wearing new shoes, grease up the areas of the feet where you’re most likely to get blisters. Use petroleum jelly or any thick ointment to help resist a blister. Or dab on egg white, and let it thoroughly dry before putting on socks and shoes. It’ll give your feet the slippery coating they need to keep away the painful bumps.
