SINUS PROBLEMS
Ip dor node id stupped up… you probably have sinus problems. Your nose may be runny, stuffy, and red from a cold or allergies, and it can really make you feel run down. It may also give you a headache from all the congestion. Keep the tissues handy and try these remedies.
Natural Remedies
• Slowly, cautiously, and gently inhale the vapors of freshly grated horseradish. While you’re at it, mix grated horseradish with lemon juice (equal amounts of each).
Dose: Eat one teaspoon one whole hour before breakfast and at least one hour after dinner. It gives long-lasting relief to some sinus sufferers who are good about taking it every day without fail.
• Crush one clove of garlic into 1⁄4 cup of water. Sip up the garlicky water into an eyedropper. (Make sure no garlic pieces get into the dropper.)
Dose: Use 10 drops of clear garlic water per nostril, three times a day for three days. At the end of the three days, there should be a noticeable clearing up of the sinus infection.
• Buy garlic pills and parsley pills.
Dose: Take two garlic pills and two parsley pills four times a day, separating the doses by four hours. After six days, you should be breathing a lot easier.
• To stop sniffling, swallow one teaspoon of honey with freshly ground pepper sprinkled on it. Don’t inhale the pepper or you’ll get rid of the sniffles and start sneezing.
WARNING: Diabetics and people with honey allergies should not use honey.
• If you feel a sneeze coming on and you’re in a situation where a sneeze would be quite disruptive, put your finger on the tip of your nose and press in.
Sinus Headaches
• Sniff some horseradish juice—the stronger the horseradish, the better. Try to do it slowly.
• Prepare poultices of either raw grated onion or horseradish. Apply the poultices to the nape of the neck and the soles of the feet. Leave them on for an hour.
