Save money on drying clothes by air-drying them indoors on a clothes rod. Put as many items as possible on hangers, and keep the hangers separated so that clothes can dry. With a rack, put socks, underwear and baby clothes at the bottom, hand towels and young children’s clothes in the middle, and other clothing on the top. Put the rack over an air vent if possible. If you do the laundry before bed and put the rack over a vent, it should be dry by morning.
