We usually don’t get into the serious stuff, but we feel that today, the anniversary of the tragic attacks of 9/11, is a good time to share a remedy for grief. Here’s what to do if you’ve recently experienced loss or are still bearing a painful memory…

Borage, a flowering herb, can be made into a tea and used as a natural remedy for grief. Prepare the tea by steeping one heaping teaspoon of dried borage leaf (available at health-food stores) in a cup of just-boiled water for 10 minutes, then strain and drink. Drink three cups of this tea throughout the day to help ease emotional pain and sorrow.
