Declutter Your Entryway

Are you dreading the winter entryway pileup of hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, footballs, dog leashes and junk mail? Is that all just the tip of the iceberg? Here’s what to do…

If you have a closet in your entryway, hang an overdoor shoe bag on the inside door. Here’s an example of one.

Assign compartments of the shoe bag for accessories that you may need before going outside—such as scarves, gloves, hats, sunglasses.

You can also store pet accessories in the shoe bag, such as your dog’s leash or winter jacket, as well as a small flashlight.
