Use two plates per setting. Place a clear plate on top of a colored plate, and insert colorful and interesting decorations in between. You can put a poinsettia flower (bottom plate is white)…or a lacy snowflake cutout (bottom plate is dark red or green)…or make a collage of holiday cards…or use a printed or solid cocktail napkin to match the tablecloth…or whatever else will fit between the plates. Use your imagination for a memorable idea that will have everyone talking!
