Warm weather means you’ll see lots of yard sales when you’re out driving, particularly on weekend mornings. But what happens when you notice an irresistible bargain that’s too big to fit in your car? Easy! Just keep two old pairs of panty hose tucked in your glove box or a corner of your cargo area.
You can use the panty hose to secure the trunk lid or hatch of your car over that oversized chair or area rug that you couldn’t resist. (This works when shopping for big stuff at home stores, too.) Unlike rope or bungee cords, the panty hose take up almost no space and weigh almost nothing. And you probably have a few pairs that are close to unwearable (or you live with someone who does).
