Mark J. Alberts, MD, a leading stroke specialist and clinical vice-chair in the department of neurology and neurotherapeutics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He is also a fellow of the American Heart Association and the former director of the stroke program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
