Mary L. Jelks, MD, is a clinical assistant professor of medicine in the department of allergy and immunology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and author of Allergy Plants that Cause Sneezing and Wheezing (World-Wide). Now retired from private practice, she continues to provide pollen and mold counts to the public and to private labs, as she has done since 1965.
