Roy Ernst, PhD, founder and adviser to the board of directors of New Horizons Music, a nonprofit organization dedicated to music education for older adults. He is also professor emeritus at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, New York, where he taught music education and conducting courses for 25 years and chaired the music education department for 12 years.
