Hopefully this doesn’t happen to you too often—a slimy mess of egg splat on the floor! Here’s how to clean it up…
When a raw egg falls on the floor, discard the eggshell first, then pour table salt over the egg and wait about five minutes until the salt soaks up the egg. Then wipe it all up with a damp rag. The salt makes for easier cleanup. There’s no drippy, gooey slime to contend with. You might have to use a lot of salt (depending on how far out your egg went splat).
