A great source of heart-healthy monounsaturated fat, dietary fiber and good-for-you nutrients, avocados taste great, especially in guacamole and especially at parties! This version has a secret ingredient (lime zest!) that gives it a tangy twist. For best results, prepare this dip just before serving.

Guacamole with Diced Tomatoes

3 ripe avocados, insides scooped out and mashed
2 plum tomatoes, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeño chile
3 tablespoons minced onions, optional
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 pinch lime zest
5 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Coarse salt

Combine the mashed avocado, tomatoes, jalapeño, onions, lime juice, lime zest, cilantro and mix until well blended. Add salt to taste. Makes 6 servings.
