Spicy Relief for Migraines

0

There are plenty of powerful drugs and costly medical therapies to put out the fire of a migraine…it’s enough to give you a headache! If you’re hit with a migraine and would like to try a natural fix, here’s what to do…

Eliminate migraine pain with pepper. Capsaicin, an ingredient in cayenne pepper, helps cut off neurotransmitters in the brain that cause headache pain.

What to do: Dissolve one-quarter teaspoon of cayenne powder in four ounces of warm water. Dip a cotton swab into the solution, and apply the liquid inside your nostrils. It will burn—and by the time the burning stops, the headache pain will be reduced or completely gone altogether.
