Make a package of ground beef easy to stack in your freezer. Take the meat out of the package and put it in a plastic freezer bag, then flatten it with a rolling pin. Plus, the flattened-out beef will thaw quickly.
It’s also a good idea to cut the label off the original wrapping and attach it to the new freezer bag.
