Gregg L. Semenza, MD, PhD, professor of genetic medicine, pediatrics, radiation oncology and molecular radiation sciences, biological chemistry, medicine and oncology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Semenza is director of the Vascular Biology Program at Johns Hopkins’ Institute for Cell Engineering and the recipient of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
