Miguel Regueiro, MD, chair of the department of gastroenterology and hepatology, and nutrition at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio and lead author of the study “Medical Homes for Patients With Inflammatory Bowel Disease” published in Gastroenterology & Hepatology. In his previous position as director of the IBD program at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, he restructured the program as a patient-center medical home for IBD and is currently developing one at Cleveland Clinic.
