Roger S. Goldstein, MD, a professor of medicine and physical therapy at the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A respirologist (specialist in lung function) at West Park Healthcare Centre in Toronto, he is also chair of respiratory rehabilitation research at the National Sanitarium Association and past chair of the Canadian Thoracic Society section on COPD rehabilitation. Dr. Goldstein is on the editorial board of the journal Chest and is a coauthor of recent research on COPD published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
